报告人简介：

Dr. Guozhan Jiang, Research fellow, School of Biology Chemistry and Forensic Science, University of Wolverhampton

Dr. Guozhan Jiang graduated from Tianjin University in 1991 with a BEng in Chemical Engineering. After graduation, he worked in China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec) for 9 years as a chemical engineer and deputy director of a 35 kt/yr polyethylene unit. In 2000, he moved to the UK to study his Ph.D degree at the University of Nottingham in rapid prototyping of complex medical structures using monomer transfer moulding. After his Ph.D, he stayed at Nottingham for 10 years conducting research in manufacturing and recycling of carbon fibre composites. He is now working as a research fellow at the University of Wolverhampton on bacterial production of biodegradable polymers and their applications.
